Matsu have delivered a purely awesome record. Not much to add.

“Nosotros” proves the band’s ability to conjugate experimental, ambient music with the most elegant, top tier dance music, far from absurd unnecessary revivals, teen hypes and all those things that seem to be fueling this music industry as of late; an industry where music is often the very least important ingredient to the mix.

Matsu did not exist yesterday and we are all lucky enough to see them from from the beginning.

If you like Hammok, Christian Löffler, Nils Frahm, Rival Consoles, Jon Hopkins, Boards of Canada, Kiasmos, Pantha Du Prince or Max Cooper, we do absolutely recommend you to keep an eye (ear) out for Matsu.

Matsu han manufacturado un disco increíble, no hay mucho más que decir.

“Nosotros” demuestra la habilidad del grupo para conjugar la experimentación y la música ambiental con la electrónica de baile más elegante, elevada y actual, ajenos a modas, revivals más o menos absurdos y todas estas cosas que parecen alimentar una industria musical en la que, últimamente, la música es lo que menos importa.

Matsu no existían ayer, y tienes la suerte de verles crecer desde el principio.
